Dr. Ubong Ime Udoakpan, a forestry and wood
science specialist with a rich background in academia, research, and
industry. Currently, he serves as a faculty member at the University of
Uyo, Nigeria, where he teaches and conduct research in wood
science, paper technology, and forest-based industries.

His career spans over three decades, including
leadership roles in paper mills, manufacturing plants, and academia.
He has contributed significantly to the development of sustainable wood
and paper production methods, authored numerous publications,
and engaged in international research collaborations.

Beyond academia, he serves as an ordained minister,
community leader, and consultant in forestry, environmental
sustainability, and paper manufacturing. His expertise extends to mentoring
students, industry professionals, and institutions seeking innovative
solutions in wood processing and management.
