Dr. Ubong Ime Udoakpan, a dedicated academic, researcher, and industry expert specializing in wood science, forestry, paper technology, and environmental conservation. With over three decades of experience, he has contributed significantly to academic research, industrial wood processing, and sustainable forest management.
As a faculty member at the University of Uyo, he teach es and conduct research on wood processing, forest operations, agroforestry, and environmental sustainability. His work extends beyond academia into industry leadership, where he has held top management positions in major pulp and paper industries, overseeing production, quality control, and sustainable manufacturing.

He holds a Ph.D. in Wood Science and Forest-Based Industries from Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike, Nigeria, as well as multiple advanced degrees in Forestry, Business Administration, and Biblical Studies.
